Renowned R&B collective The Hightails proudly announce the release of their seventh mixtape studio album, Sweet Cheetah Music, Volume 7: The Covered, available August 2025 exclusivity on YouTube. The highly anticipated project is a heartfelt homage to the several eras of R&B, blending soulful reinterpretations of timeless classics with brand-new original tracks by I.D. Swagger that showcases the group’s signature sound.
Over the course of 17 tracks, SCM, Vol. 7: The Covered takes listeners on a nostalgic yet fresh journey through the music that continues to inspire The Hightails.
Fans will hear the group’s modern, harmony-rich take on beloved songs by Luther Vandross, Sade, the Bee Gees, Kool & The Gang, Mario, Ciara, T-Pain, Alicia Keys, and even Queen, alongside original compositions like “All Black”, "Ruin It All", "Soul Can Soar" and “Dance Tonight” that are destined to become new fan favorites.
